‘Parmanu’- John’s Highest Solo Grosser crosses the 65 crore milestone at the India Box Office


We have been hearing about the Rs.100 Crore records made by some Hindi films in the first week of their run. This happens with many budget and big banner budget Hindi films, when the film makers try to recover their investments during the first week, by booking maximum screens. John Abraham’s film ‘Parmanu The Story of Pokhran’ released on 25th May, 2018 and is still running successfully Worldwide. The earning figures on a weekly basis, released by the makers are as follows: Week 1- 35.41, Week 2- 16.42cr; Week 3 – 7.03cr, Week 4 – 3.28cr, Week 5- 2.77cr, Week 6- 0.27cr (2days); aggregating the TOTAL Till date to 65.18 crores.

 

‘Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran’, which  salutes India’s Unsung Heroes, has not only become John Abraham’s HIGHEST GROSSER as a solo Hero project going past his previous ‘Shootout At Wadala’ (62 cr). The film is still running in close to 100 screens in Week 6 once again proving the Power of Good Content.

 

Opening to critical acclaim Parmanu, soon had an extremely strong word of mouth, drawing huge crowds across markets.  It has maintained a steady audience pull, resulting in a strong Box office performance till date with the love and adulation from audience taking it to all-new heights despite all odds.  According to the makers, TheTotal Cost  of production was Rs. 34.85 cr.
