During the past two weeks all roads led to Dubhashi Ground at Vile Parle East, as it was a feast for Football lovers. From morning till late evening Football league matches were played in Premier as well as Champions league, which invited top young football players from Mumbai, who represented different clubs, competing with each other. What was more interesting was that every match witnessed good spectator response, due to ongoing school and college vacation.
Parle Messiah – Premier Divn Winners
In the finals played on Sunday, Parle Indians took on Parle Xenons in the Champions Trophy and both the teams finished with draw to take the match to penalty shoot out stage and finally to sudden death stage. In this closely fought encounter, Parle Xenons finally won with a narrow margin of 5-4 with JD of Parle Xenons declared the man of the match.

In the Premier league finals, which followed, saw one more well fought match between Parle Messiahs and Parle Knights , which had score board blank till half time. But, the second half proved to be lucky for Parle Messiah, who recorded 1-0 victory over Parle Knights to bag the prestigious trophy. Vinod was declared the man of the match.
The grand success of this tournament was due to hard work put in by young Siddharth and his team.
