Medium pacer Adarsh Singh bowled with fire to capture seven wickets for just 22 runs against Jwala Sports Foundation to take MCC (Yellow) to the top of the table in the 6-team MCC Pro-40 league, played at Oval Maidan here. This was their fifth successive win.
The table topper “Yellow” opting to bat first, were bowled out for 163, mainly due to tight bowling by Ishan Porwal (3/39) and Aman Parekh (2/30), well supported by Vishesh Yadav 2/18). But then in reply, JSW batsmen were all at sea against medium pacer Adarsh Singh (7/22) and Atharva Nadgane 2/3) were shot out for 53.
In the other tie played at plot no. 7, MCC (Blue) did well to keep their chances bright by beating defending champions MCC (Red) 32 runs.
