Oxford Public (Kandivali) scoring a thrilling 8-run win over fancied Swami Vivekanand (Kandivali) to storm into the cricket final of the Poinsur Gymkhana’s Annual Uttar Kreeda Mahotsav-2017 held here today. They take on the last year’s champions Borivali’s Swami Vivekanand in the 30-over final to be played on November 18, the day Poinsur Gymkhana’s 10-day “Annual Sports Fiesta”, the “Uttar Mumbai Krida Mahotsav – 2017 kicks off. Offspinner Aditya Santra with his 3/21 was adjudged the man-of-the-match.

The Borivali’s Swami Vivekanand, the defending champions defeated Gokuldham (Goregvaon) without any hiccups by 7 wickets in the other semifinal.

Apart from cricket, schools swimming competition too will be held at adjacent Kamla Vihar Sports Club on the same day.
