Reigning champions ONGC registered a fluent 7-0 win against Dena Bank in an Elite Division match of the MDFA Leagues 2018-2019 and played at the Cooperage ground.
ONGC were a superior lot and scored at the regular intervals with strikers Sunil Lohar, Vinod Pandey and Himanshu Patil all scoring a brace of goals, while Arif Shaikh got one to complete the margin of victory.
In another match, Central Bank of India were forced to a 1-1 draw by Century Rayon. After a barren first half, Central Bank took he lad through Deepak Pal’s strike in the 51st minute, but Century Rayon fought back and scored the equalizer through Worchupei Kashung’s goal in the 57th minute.
