Omkar Karekar, fron Goenka Educational Trust, leapt to 6.36 mts to win the men’s long jump event in the Poinsur Gymkhana’s 42nd Utter Mumbai Krida Mahotsav 2017 at their ground at Kandivali here today.

However, Pristal D’Souza, a 12-year-old girl from Aim Sports Academy, set the day’s only record when she heaved shot put to 10,96 mts to win gold in the girls under-12 event.eventhe second placed Sakshi Chauhan (9.17 MTS) from AIM Sports Academy, too,bettered the old mark.
