Reserve Bank of India scored two quick goals midway through the first half and defeated Central Railway by a comfortable 2-0 margin in an Elite (Corporate) Division encounter of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2022-2023 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Tuesday evening.
Striker Troy Nunes did well to score Reserve Bank’s first goal in the 14th minute. Six minutes later, Amey Kamble hit the target to double Reserve Bank’s lead, which they managed to maintain till the final whistle and to collect the full three points.
Earlier, Tanish Gadge and Pratham Bhatkar were both in superb scoring form and scored five and four goals respectively in leading Om Saidham SM to a thumping 12-0 win against Feugo Tormento FC in a First Division match. Shibin Deshmukh, Om Raut and Roger Pereira scored one apiece to complete the massive margin of victory.
In contrast, Soccer Saga recorded a narrow 1-0 win against Storm Chasers FC in another match of the same division. Soham Shintre struck the lone winning goal.
