Niketa Lobo of Fr. Agnel Multipurpose School and Revant Singal of Gopi Birla Memorial School clinched the top honours in the girls’ and boys’ under-16 singles events respectively in the inaugural Sports For All (SFA)-India’s Premier Inter- School Sporting System, which is being played at the D.Y. Patil Sports Stadium, Nerul on Monday.

In the Girls’ under-16 final, Niketa encountered quite a stiff challenge from Smriti Nair of D.Y. Patil International School, Nerul before winning the contest in three games at 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. The Boys’ under-16 final, was a one-sided affair as Revant with his strong power play proved too good for Amish Berry of CP Goenka International School and went on to record a facile 6-4, 6-3 victory.
The Girls’ under-14 finals was also a tame contest as Malvika Shukla of Podar International School, Khar had things completely under her control and dropped just two games as she raced to a comfortable 6-1, 6-1 win against Kiara D’Souza of Lilavati Podar School, Santacruz.
In the Boys’ under-14 final, Aryan Barfiwala of D.Y. Patil International School, Nerul was forced to bring out his best to get the better of Veer Shah of Jamnabai Narsee School before winning at 6-2, 7-5(7-3).

Boys’ under-10: Aarav Pawar (Delhi Public School) bt Avaneesh Srivastava (Apeejay School, Nerul) 4-0, 4-0.
Boys’ under-12: Anup Bangargi (Fr. Agnel Multipurpose School) bt Atharva Patil (Parle Tilak Vidyalaya) 6-4, 7-5(3).
Girls’ under-14: Malvika Shukla (Podar International, Khar) bt Kiara D’Souza (Lilavati Podar, Santacruz) 6-1, 6-1.
