Navi Mumbai SA snatch close win

Juber Shaikh (5 for 36) and Himanshu Chaudhari (4 for 16) helped Navi Mumbai SA snatch a close win against Young Men’s Cricket Club, Vasai on the basis of the first innings lead in a Division ‘F’ second round match of the MCA 76^th Dr. H.D. Kanga League Cricket Tournament 2023-2024.

Batting first, Navi Mumbai SA in their first innings were dismissed for 108 runs. The top-scorer was Abhishek Chavan with 33 runs while Young Men CC’s bowler Nimish Sandan claimed 6 wickets for 33 runs. Later, Shaikh and Chaudhari combined perfectly to bundle out Young Men’s CC for 90 all out and to gain an 18 runs first innings lead.

In another match, Maharashtra Young Cricketers fought back to take a crucial first innings lead against Star Cricket Club to record a win.
