I.C. United and Falcons FC, both recorded identical 1-0 win in their respective Second Division matches of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Friday.
Walsh Trinandade’s 46th minute goal helped I.C. United prevail over Utkarsh Mandal 1-0 while later in the evening Prashant Singh scored in the 63rd minute to seal Falcon’s narrow win against V-Care SC.
Earlier in another Second Division encounter, Young Guns, Vikhroli overcame GKW Rangers by a 4-2 margin. Marlon Fonseca netted a brace while Stephen D’Souza and Ryan Christopher got the other two goals for the winning side. Binoy Pinto struck both the goals for Rangers.
