Muskaan Patel (Girls-U-17) from Dhirubhai Ambani International and Rushabh Chaubey (boys-U-17) from Queen Mary’s (Mira Road) stole the show in the Greater Mumbai Amateur Aquatic Association’s Inter-School/junior colleges swim meet, held at Mandpeshwar Civic Federation (MCF) at their sports complex at Borivali here today.
Muskaan-all smiles
Muskaan romped home in style as she bagged six golds – 50m and 100m free style, 50m breast stroke, 100m individual medley, 50m butterfly events and 50m back stroke, leaving the field way behind. While Rushab emerged best in five of the six events he participated. The one he missed was 100m breast stroke in which Krish Mehta from Dhirubhan Ambani, pipped him at the post to deprive him of the clean sweep. However, for the second day in a row, none of the swimmers could better any of the existing records in any of the categories.

U-13: Apeksha Fernandes (Bom.Scot, Powai) – 5 gold, 1 silver. U-11: Anuksha Salaskar (Yashodhan, Goregaon) – 4 gold. U-9: Ananya Nayak (Vibgyor, Goregaon) – 3 gold, 2 solver. U-7: Tiara Singh (D.G. Khetan Int.) – 3 gold, 1 silver.
BOYS: U-17: Rushab Chaubey (Queen’s Mary, Mira Rd)- 5 gold, 1 silver. U-15: Manas Chorge (Lakshdham, Goregaon) – 3 gold, 1 bronze. U-13: Srish Maulik (RSB, Arya Vidyamandir)- 5 gold, 1 silver. U-11: Ronak Sawant (OL of Salvation) – 5 gold. U-9: Jeet Patil (Soham Nalanda Public) – 3 gold, 1 silver, 1bronze., U-7: Sharay Bhalla (RSB Arya Vidyamandir) – 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze.
