Khar Gymkhana’s Muskaan Patel and hosts CCI’s Avni Vats bagged three golds apiece in their respective girls under-17 and under-16 sections in the CCIs 75th Platinum Jubilee Inter-Club CCI Swimming Gala here on Saturday. Muskaan triumphed in the 100m free style (01:78.2 secs), 100m butterfly (01:19.50m secs), and 100m individual medley (01:19.96 secs) events while hosts CCI’s Avni won 100m freestyle (01:11.99 secs), 100m butterfly (01:35.33 secs) and 100m individual medley (01:29.312 secs.).
Joining the duo was another CCI girls Antara Kothare, who topped in the girls under-15 section, winning 100m freestyle (01:09,35 secs), 100m butterfly (01:19.78 secs) and 100m individual medley (01:22.89 secs).
Even in the boys sections, Amber Malandkar (Forest Club) won the 100m freestyle (00:59.36 secs), 100m butterfly (01:28.4 secs) and 100m individual medley (01:09.29 secs) golds in the under-15 category. It was Dev Ambokar from |Glenmark Aquatics Foundation, who came out best in the under-16 category, winning 100m freestyle (01:01.12secs), 100m butterfly (01:05.46 secs) and100m individual medley (01:08.85 secs).
Heer Shah, from Mulund Swimning Pool, dominated in the men’s section, winning triple gold in the 100m free style, 100m butterfly and 100m individual medley events, while Snehal Bhal from Ozone Swimming Pool ended with a brace in the women’s category. She took the 50m butterfly gold as well as 100m individual medley gold.
