Rohan Mundlekar’s double strikes helped Vision Rescue outplay The Sports Gurukul 4-1 in a Second Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Friday. Mundlekar’ s teammates Surya Naicker and Roshan Solanki contributed with one goal each to round off the scoreline for the winners, while Tausif Khan netted the lone goal for the losers.
In another encounter, Oscar Foundation ‘A’ and Samuel Football Academy played out a goalless draw.
Meanwhile in a Third Division match, YMCA romped to a 4-1 win against Sahar Silver Stars. Abdul Shaikh struck three goals and Adnan Ansari got one for YMCA while Wilbur D’Souza netted one for the Sahar side.
