Mumbai Marines SC got the better of SVKM Sport Club by a 1-0 margin in a Third Division match of the MDFA League 2018-19 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. After a barren first half, striker Omkar Kalkar scored the all-important winner in the second minute after the restart to help Marines snatch their third consecutive win and take all the three points.
In another encounter, Vipul Gorai defeated BPCL Marketing 2-0. Chaitanya N. and Nihar Mhaske scored a goal each for the winning side.
