Western Railway’s former international and coach Moonmoon Ghosh bagged double gold in the Greece International veteran Table Tennis tournament in Thesakoniki (Greece) last week. Apart from India, players from Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Bulgaria, Russia, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Israel and Kosovo participated in the inaugural event.

In the singles final, Moonmoon beat Bulgaria’s Zongva Vania in the tense tie that went the full distance before she triumphed a 3-2. Later in the women’s doubles , she paired with Kalogianni Maria to clinch the doubles title as well. The pair defeated Greeece pair of Zaneva and Papadaki .
