Vakola United SC produced a good fighting display to register a tight 1-0 win against Outpost Boys SC in a Round-3 Group-A match of the Vakola Football League supported by Brian Miranda, organized by the Vakola Sports Committee and played at St. Anthony’s Church ground, Vakola, Santacruz.
In a keenly contested encounter, Ralstan Miranda scored the only goal of the match to give Vakola United the full three points from the win.
In another closely fought Group-A match, Bazoo XI overcame Galaticos SC by an identical 1-0 margin. Gaurav Malhotra struck the lone goal to seal the win for Bazoo XI.
