A determined Millat FC showed strong fighting qualities as they recovered to force a 1-1 draw with Salcette FC in a well-contested Elite Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the Cooperage ground on Thursday. The scores were locked goalless at the end of the first half.
Salcette FC against the run of play hit the target when striker Sahil Mukane scored the opening goal in the 51st minute to break the deadlock.
Millat FC made a strong reply and 10 minutes later found the equalizer through Rayyan Sheikh.
Result – Elite Div: Salcette FC 1 (Sahil Mukane 51) drew with Millat FC 1 (Rayyan Sheikh 61).
