The Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2023-2024 season will commence with the conduct of the Super Division (Private) League which is scheduled to kick-off at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra from Saturday, August 5, 2023.
A total of 37 teams, which include four promoted teams from the First Division and two relegated teams from the Elite Division. The participating teams have been divided into three groups, with two groups comprising 12 teams and the third consisting of 12 teams.
The initial round will be played on a round-robin league basis. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the ‘Super 6’ and play a straight league. The team with the maximum points will be the champions.
The four promoted teams are, First Division champions India On Track, runners-up Om Saidham Seva Mandal and the two losing semi-finalists Soccer Saga SA and Kopana FC. The two Elite Division teams who moved down are Mumbai Strikers SC and India Rush SC.
