Defending champions MCC (Red) scored a thrilling 22-run win over MCC (Blue) in the semifinal of the B4S MCC PRO – 40 double-leg 5-Team league here. They next face Jwala Sports Foundation ,who beat Bhosale Cricket Academy by 2 wickets in the other semifinals. Both the semifinals were played at Oval Maidan today.
Dasrath Chavan
It was Dasrath Chavan’s fine allround show (76 & 2/26), which helped “Red” beat “Blue”, while JSF chased down BCA’s score of 156 with two wickets in hand. Aryan Chitroda top-scored with 46 for JSF.
While JSF, but for their solitary defeat at the hands of “Blue” in the league phase, finished at the top of the table, the holders had a mixed outing during the league matches, ending with four defeats and four losses.
