Thanks to opener Altamesh Khan’s fine knock of 85, MCC ‘A’ overpowered Mane Cricket Academy by 10 runs for their second win in the MCC Under-19 Super League Cricket League tie, played at Oval Maidan here today.
Put into to bat, MCC’A’ batsmen went with positive approach as they hit up 216 for eight of the allotted 40 overs. Apart from Altamesh’s 85, other major run-getter was Vedprakash Jaiswal (59). In reply, Mane CA almost chased down their opponent, but fell short by 10 runs.

JASH GANIGA’S CENTURY: Jash Ganiga’s hurricane century (107 – 12×4 and 5 sixes) featured in Sanjeevani Cricket Academy’s 196 runs win over Bhosale Cricket Academy in the 40-over MCC U-16 Super League match, played at Dadar Parsi Zorashtrian ground at Matunga.
Jash not only batted superbly in Sanjeevani’s score of 350 for four off 40 overs, he also captured four wickets for 16 runs off six overs as Bhosale CA, chasing such a huge total, were dismissed for 164. Jash was well supported by Zenth Sachdev, who bagged two wickets for just 14 runs.
