It’s MCA colts vs Parsee Gymkhana in the final of the R F S Talyarkhan Memorial Invitational T-20 Cricket Tournament. In the semi-finals at the Bombay Gymkhana ground, MCA Colts overhauled P J Hindu Gymkhana’s total of 183 for nine scoring 184 for 6 in 19.3 overs for a four-wicket win.
In the other semi-final, Parsee Gymkhana scored a six-wicket win. Batting first Cricket Club of India put up a daunting 203 for five score but Parsee Gymkihana totalled 204 for four in 19.3 overs to take a deserving spot in the final.
Jay Bista scored 120 in 67 balls for PJ Hindu Gymkhana
Jay Bista maintained his form with the willow for Hindu Gymkhana with a whirlwind knock of 120 secured from 37 balls which including six sixes and nine boundaries. Maxwell Swaminathan scored 29 for the losers even as Dhanit Rana with 3 for 26, Sashan Attrade with two for 18 and Athavale Akolekar with 2 for 34 shone with the ball for MCA colts.
Divyansh Saxena with a 42-ball 62 and Suved Parkar with 29 did their bit for the Colts.
Akash Anand’s unbeaten belligerent knock of 84 went in vain for CCI. Parsee Gymkhana batsmen Ishan Mulchandani 74 (37 balls, 7×4. 5×6), Kevin Almeida 36*, Shams Mulani 28 and Sagar Chhabria 26* all contributed in Parsee Gymkhana’s win.
