Maurya Youngsters FA eked out a narrow 1-0 win against O’sheish FA in a Second Division play-off match of the MDFA Leagues 2017-18 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. Striker Akshay Agarwal netted the all-important winner in the 65th minute help the Maurya Youngsters secure the win and collect all the three points.
In another match, Mother Theresa Foundation blanked Castle Boys SC 2-0. Nigel Parlekar and Bhavesh Koli were bang on target with a goal each to clinch Mother Theresa’s win.
