Mangal Saraf continued with her fine performance at the World veterans TT Championship( WVTTC) being played at Convention Centre, Las Vegas, USA. Partnering Rita Jain in the Women’s 60+ Doubles, she has managed to reach semi finals of the main draw. And, this is really creditable. Mangal will be playing her pre quarter finals in the Women’s singles main draw on 23rd morning , which will be 23rd night in India. Besides Mangal, another Indian Mantu Murmu has also entered last 16 in the main draw of Women’s 55+ section. Meenu Basak, Anjana Rao & Prassuna Parekh will play pre quarter finals of main draw in Women’s 40+ , while Geeta Tandon will also play pre Quarter finals in Women’s 45+ section.

Mr. Manohar Kumar Bavanaka from Hyderabad is the only Man from India , who will also be playing his pre quarter final round in Men’s 50+ Singles main draw. Few other players from India who lost in qualifying rounds took another chance to play Consolation rounds and did perform well, especially in doubles. Among them were Dr.Nitin Toshniwal & Premjeet Rannanavare who earned 1st place in Men’s Consolation 45+ Doubles . Vinay Chopra & kapil Kumar also reached the finals of Men’s 55+ Consolation doubles, while Amarnath & Bhargava also from India also reached Men’s 85+ Consolation doubles finals.
