Malwani FC produced a decent combined performance and marched to a convincing 4-0 win against JSW Steel SC in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Friday evening. Strikers Maxie D’Souza, Avlon Dias, David D’Souza and Carlton Mascarenhas worked in tandem with their teammates and struck a goal each to wrap up the match.
In another match of the same division, V-Care and Dadar XI ‘B’ shared two goals and points as they played out a 1-1 draw. Arun Pawar was on target for V-Care and Pushpendra Kharadi scored for the Dadar side.
