Top Indian and international players will be competing for the top honours in the Maharashtra Carrom Association (MCA) organized Rs seven lakh prize-money LIC-Maharashtra Open Carrom Challenger’s Trophy which is scheduled to commence, at the Maharashtra State Bharat Scout & Guide Hall, Shivaji Park, Dadar, from February 13.
The tournament which will be a men’s singles event, has attracted over 530 players from 18 states in the country. Players from Singapore, Sri Lanka and Maldives have also confirmed their participation in this four-day tournament.
The competition matches will be played on Siscaa carrom boards with Siscaa equipment. Matches will be conducted according to the ‘Laws of Carrom. The finals will be played on Friday, February 16 followed by the prize distribution at 7.00 pm.
