Maanav Shah, seeded second, redeemed himself by upsetting top seeded Varun Sharma to bag the junior boys singles title in the late Pratap Vora All Mumbai Promotional table tennis tournament, sponsored by JPV Realtors and co-sponsored by HIGH TIDE and jointly hosted by OZONE Events N Media and Guru Table Tennis Centre at Kandivali Education Society Hall at Kandivali here today.

Earlier, Maanav , top seeded in the sub-junior boys singles was shocked by Krish Bhatia in the quarterfinals.
Petite Akshita Jaswal, coached by Deepak Mani, gave her coach a good reason to smile at last, by claiming the junior girls singles title with a 11-9, 8-11, 11-8,11-7 win over third seeded Sampada Bhiwandkar .
Shubham Shinde was taken to four games by Shubham Samant in the sub-junior boys singlews final. Shubham triumphed 11-8, 8-11, 11-7, 11-8. Both the finalists had also figures in the junior boys
