Little Sana D’souza the sixth standard student of Carmel of St. Joseph School, Mumbai played extremely well at the recently concluded South Zone Table Tennis Tournament at Vijaywada. “Sana who was ranked 13 in India first upset 4th seeded from West Bengal 3-1 in the pre quarter finals. Later in the quarter finals she lost very narrowly 2-3. But, she played brilliantly in this tournament ,” said her coach Gill Gurcharan Singh on her return to Mumbai.
Sana has been playing Table tennis in Guru’s table tennis Academy, has shown tremendous improvisation in her game this season. She is just passionate about this game. But, her favourite is Ding Ning from China. During her free time at home, Sana loves to watch comedy serial ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma’, which according to her offers good entertainment, much needed after a tiring day.
