Lion Kings and Striking Pandas recorded identical 1-0 wins in their opening Boys’ Under-16 league matches of the Football Championship League, conducted by The Sports Gurukul (TSG) at the All India Balkan-ji-Bari football ground, Santacruz.

In a well-contested encounter, Lion Kings managed to overcome Super Stallions with Dhruvasva Maniar scoring the decisive winner and ensure to pick up all the three points.
Meanwhile, Striking Pandas also encounter quite a challenge from Crazy Crocs before they did well to snatch the winner through Sahil Naik’s efforts.
Lion Kings enjoyed more success as their junior team defeated Dashing Rhinos also by a narrow 1-0 margin in a Boys’ Under-14 league match. Striker Ishan Vora netted the all-important goal to secure the win and help his team to take away the full three points.
In an Boys’ Under-12 match, Striking Pandas were not successful as they went down fighting 0-1 to Black Panthers with Aryan Thapa scored the crucial winner.
