Project Let’s Change starts by showing the Hindi docu-drama “Let’s Change “directed by Rohit Arya. The children as well as youngsters have the strength to change the country and if they are taught to keep their neighbourhood and city clean, then the dream of Clean India, beautiful India will surely come into reality. The docu-drama has been made with the purpose of spreading the awareness of cleanliness among the children by initiating a cleanliness project The magic of their noble campaign slowly spreads everywhere and their neighbouring areas become ultra clean.

Produced by Apaar and presented by Ramesh Deo Production, it evoked an overwhelming response. The effect of this docu-drama and activity was such that even after four months, many students continue to stop people and make them rectify their mistake of littering streets by doing ‘Sardar Patelbaazi’; an improvisation to ‘Gandhigiri’.

Dr. R A Mashelkar, Chairman of Mission Swachh Bharat Committee in his address appreciated the project and opined this to be one of the best plans that schools can adopt. In fact, he has recommended Project Let’s Change and screening this film to all schools and Education Boards as their activity for the Clean India dream. He has made an appeal to the Corporate to recognize this activity and sponsor this project for growth and sustenance of the programme. Let’s Change is a series of 4 entertaining films, each explaining a phase of the project. Project Let’s Change 2015 starts from September. Schools can register as their activity for the Mission Swachh Bharat through www.letschangeindia.net

Recently a function was organised which was part of the Project. Noted film personality and chairman of CFSI Mr. Mukesh Khanna, Mr. Prem Chopra and Mr. Ramesh Deo were present at the function.

Many school Principals from the participating schools attended the program gave very positive feedback about the project. Project Let’s Change is one of the best plans that makes a lasting impact on students. “It makes a better effect and we spend less time, effort and money than any other activity that we have done so far. On top of it students enjoy the film and proactively follow the ideas. In fact after watching the docu-drama Students themselves started reacting when they saw anybody littering without any instructions from us.” Children seemed very enthusiastic to be part of the project and expressed the opinion that the taking part in cleanliness project is better than the activities like drawing competitions, making skits, or cleaning the premises that only have a one day effect.
