Flood water has reduced in many areas of Mumbai, excluding low lying areas.

Rain takes a break  in Mumbai suburbs for the past 20 minutes.

Next HIGH TIDE in Bombay is at 6:01 AM tomorrow .

Holiday declared for schools and colleges tomorrow.

Heavy rains shift to Thane.

Autos back on roads . But, heavy traffic jams on WE and EX highway and Shil Phata , Thane Belapur Rd, near Navi Mumbai..

Andheri to Virar railway service on Western Railway is operational. Thane- kalyan service on central railway resumed.

Air services also affected.

Many outstation railway trains coming to Mumbai have stopped at many places. Even some outgoing trains have been cancelled and routes diverted for some trains.

Arrangement for free food and shelter have been made at Ram temple, Wadala, Gurudwara Deshmesh near GTB nagar and Siddhivinayak temple , Prabhadevi for people stranded at different places. Even some Volunteers have come forward to help people stranded at railway stations.

Flow of vehicles from Pune & Nashik  approaching  Mumbai stopped at two places, to avoid congestion at entry point in Mumbai .

Power goes off in certain areas of Bandra , Santacruz.

Train services yet to regularise and so is the BEST bus service, due to traffic jams.
