Kush Govil’s hat-trick in Cambridge’s win


Kush Govil’s hat-trick featured in Cambridge (Kandivali)’s 5-0 hammering of St. Joseph”s (Orlem) from group ‘A’ on way to last 16 in the under-14  DSO’s (Divisional Sports Office)’s Mumbai Suburban (Taluka) Football tournament, organised and sponsored by Vision Sports Reconnect and Fairplay Sports Management at St. Francis D’Assisi ground, Borivali, here today. It was a day with as many as three of the eight matches scheduled were decided on tie-breakers. There will be no matches at this venue on Saturday and Sunday. After Adit Singh an took over and  struck thrice in quick succession to put their rivals out of the competition.

In another tie, Aaron Pinto’s brace helped Don Bosco (Borivali) beat Swami Vivekanand, Borivali) 3-0 with Miraj Salunke opened the scoring for the Bosco outfit. All the three goals came in the first half itself.

A fine goal by Karm Mulcandani, who dodged a couple of defenders before  beating onrushing goalkeeper to score in Vibgyor’s solitary goal win over Ryan International (Malad).
