Kunal Jagtap scored the lone goal, which helped Farm House Sports Club snatch a 1-0 win against Egyptian Boys in a Men’s Open match of the 16th Kalina Football League, organised by the Our Lady of Egypt Parish Church Sports Committee, and played at the Our Lady of Egypt Church ground, Kalina.
In another closely contested encounter, Air India Colony got the better of Kalina United by a close 2-1 margin. Sachin Medar and Kishan Singh were bang on target for Air India, while Monish D’Souza struck United’s only goal.
In a third match, which was a one-sided affair Kalina Village Boys (Red) banked their third team, Kalina Village Boys (Black) 6-0 with striker Dan Dias leading the charge by scoring a fine hat-trick. Eric Dowling got a brace of goals and Arun Patil one to complete the winning tally.
