Madanpura Under-19 put up a solid fighting display to record a narrow 1-0 win against BEST Sports Club in a well balanced and hard-fought Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Tuesday.
After a barren opening session, striker Kishen Singh found the back of the net in the 37th minute to give Madanpura colts the lead, to which they held till the end of the match and emerge victors.
