Playing with plenty of grit and determination Kenkre FC left it late and struck twice at the death to overcome CFCI (Community Football Club of India) 2-1 in a Rustomjee-MDFA Elite Division match at the Cooperage ground on Monday.
After a barren first session, CFCI took the lead through Pratik Koli in the 58th minute. But, Kenkre came fighting back and managed to score the equalizer through Bharat Thapa in the 87th minute before Rohan Shukla netted the decisive winner in the sixth minute of additional period to help his team snatch all the three points.
In the Super Divison acton, Troy Nunes notched up a fine hat-trick to power St. Sebastian to a comfortable 4-0 win against Skorost FC. Dalton Wilson had given Skorost the lead.
