Keegan Pinto scored two opportunistic goals, which were the highlight of Junior Rangers thumping 4-0 win over Farm House Sports Club in a Boys’ Under-16 semi-final encounter, of the 16th Kalina Football League (KFL), organised by the Our Lady of Egypt Parish Church Sports Committee, and played at the Our Lady of Egypt Church ground, Kalina. Keegan’s teammates, Aaron Dias and Krishna Shukla, both chipped in with a goal each to wrap up the match.

The second semi-final played between Kalina Village Boys and Air India Colony witnessed a grim battle for supremacy before the former managed to scrape through by a close 2-1 margin. Kalina Vilage Boys scored through Faizan Shaikh and Amaan Khan, while Air India netted through Tauseef Khan.
Meanwhile, in the semi-finals of the Men’s Veteran Inter-Parish (knockout) tournament, St. Joseph’s, Juhu got the better of St. Anthony’s, Malawni 2-1 and Our Lady of Health, Versova overcame hosts Our Lady of Egypt, Kalina 1-0.
