Kalina League
Junior Rangers showed good understanding and combined well as a unit to inflict a convincing 4-0 win over Farm House Sports Club in a Boy’s Under-16 league match of the 17th Kalina Football League 2017, organised by the Our Lady of Egypt Church Sports Committee, and played at the Our Lady of Egypt Church grounds, Kalina. The feature of Rangers victory was the twin strikes from Keegan Pinto, while Ivan Fernandes and Austin Joy netted one each to complete the winning tally.
In another boys match, Air India Colony romped to a fluent 2-0 win against Kalina Village Boys. Divesh Rajput and Girish Rane were bang on target with a goal each for the Colony lads.
Results – Boys Under-16 League: Junior Rangers 4 (Keegan Pinto 2, Ivan Fernandes 1, Austin Joy 1) beat FHSC India 0.
Air India Colony 2 (Divesh Rajput 1, Girish Rane 1) beat Kalina Village Boys.
