Opportunistic goal-scorer Keegan Pinto notched up a fine hat-trick to power Kalina United to a comfortable 6-0 win against Kalina Rangers in a third round match of the 19th Kalina Football League organised by the Our Lady of Egypt Church Sports Committee, and played at the St. Mary’s HS ground, Kalina.

Pinto received excellent support from the teammates Madhu Moses, Sachin Rawat and Aaron Lobo, all contributing with a goal each to complete their big margin of victory.
Later in an evenly-contested encounter, J.P. United FC recovered from the big 0-8 defeat against Air India Colony Boys in the last match, as they managed to snatch a tight 1-0 win against Kalina Village Boys. Harsh Pawar netted the decisive winning goal for J.P. United.
Earlier, in a boys’ under-16 match, Kalina Village Boys got the better of Kalina Rangers 4-2 in a entertaining and high-scoring match. The hero of Village Boys victory was striker Gaurav Pawar who scored a superb hat-trick of goals, while Reagan Pereira had scored the opening goal. For Kalina Rangers, the goals came through the efforts of Andersen D’Sa and Nigel Binu.
