Karnatak SC and Shreekrishna SC romped to victories in their respective matches of the 20th Late Shri Ramanath Payyade Memorial Football League 2015-2016, organised by the Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) and played at the KSA ground, Cross Maidan.
Strikers Sagar Shetty and Sachin Medar, both capitalised on the chances that came their way, scoring a goal each in leading Karnatak SC to 2-0 win against Karnatak Amateurs SC in a lively encounter.
In another match which was witnessed a hard-fought contest, Shreekrishna SC riding on Ramesh Chavan’s lone strike prevailed over Jai Hind SC by a close 1-0 margin.
