Karnatak Sporting Association rallied well and struck two late goals to overcome PIFA Colaba SC 3-1 in an Elite Division match of the MDFA Leagues 2017-18 and played at the Cooperage ground.
In an evenly contested encounter, the Colaba outfit took the lead when against the run of play Kamran K. found the net in the 43rd minute to give his team a slender 1-0 half-time lead.
But, the determined Karnatak side managed to restore parity through Johnson D’Silva’s strike in the 63rd minute before Tushar Poojay and Sagar Salian netted a goal during additional period to seal KSA’s win.
Results – Elite Div: Karnatak Sporting Association 3 (Johnson D’Silva 63rd, Tushar Poojary 90+2nd, Sagar Salian 90+4th) beat PIFA Colaba SC 1 (Kamran K. 65).
