The credit to Ghatkopar Jets’ win goes to opener Karan Nandy (95 with 8 fours and 3 sixes) and Prathmesh Pawar (61).The pair put on 147 runs for the fourth wicket, which saw them making a formidable score of 181 for four in the allotted 20 overs. Chasing 182  to win – a rather difficult task- the Thane batsmen hardly made any impact. But for the spirited 33 by Vijay Reddy, none of the other batsmen showed any determination to put  up a fight as wickets continued to tumble  before they were all out for 143.

Earlier, in the morning, Bandra Heroes’Aman Khan continued to dispay fine form by notching up 97 with 13 fours and six sixes as they showered Ghatkopar Jets’ 119 without much ado.
