To Kapil Yadav (MCC Blue) and Ayaz Khan (JSF) went the honours of recording centuries – firsts in the league – as their respective teams notched up commanding victories in the B4S MCC PRO – 40 double-leg 5-Team league played at Oval Maidan here today.

Put into bat, MCC (Blue) hit up 281 off the allotted 40 overs with Kapil hammering run-a-ball 104 with 11 fours against Bhosale Cricket Academy, who were shot out for 108 runs. While in the other tie, Jwala Sports Foundation batsmen too were in roaring form as they made 237 for nine. Leading them was Ayaz Khan, who scored 111 off 101 balls with 10 fours. However, chasing 238 for victory, MCC (Green) with Altamesh Khan (57) leading the challenge , made a bold attempt but fell short by 43 runs.
