Latest released Bollywood film ‘Kabir Singh Jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series and starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani is a romantic drama written and directed by Sandeep Vanga. It is a remake of his own Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017) which was also directed by Sandeep Vanga.
The film revolves around the title character, an alcoholic surgeon, who goes on a self-destructive path after his girlfriend is forced to marry someone else.
Talking about the earnings, ‘Kabir Singh’ made opening day domestic collection of Rs. 20.21 crore. On second day film earned 22.71 crore and on the third day, being Sunday it earned Rs 27.91 crore thus taking the total collections to Rs. 70 + Crore. Incidentally, the film was released in 3000+ screens across the country. For Shahid kapoor this is a good news, as the film is likely to cross Rs. 100 Crore mark in next few days.
