Jwala Singh shows the way

Where there is a will, there’s a way. When few years ago Jwala Singh through his Mumbai Cricket Club launched his First T-20 Cricket league, to spot the young talent, he handed over the responsibility of leading each of the eight teams to former Ranji Trophy players like Wasim Jafer, Vinayak Samant and few others. And, under their leadership the new talented players did get an opportunity to make good progress in the game of cricket at competitive level. Every year, he is able to find sponsor for his competition, which is played at Police Gymkhana, Mumbai under flood lights.

At present his  SAI-Mumbai Masters T-20 League, powered by Paradigm Reality, at the Police Gymkhana has reached the final stage. While these matches were played during the week, just a kilometre  away another big event Mumbai Super Cricket league was being played. But, that did not bother Jwala Singh much. His matches had drawn good crowds, with elaborate arrangements done for the players and spectators. When we asked Jwala Singh, as to how many of his players, who began their competitive cricket with his League matches were playing in the Mumbai Super league, he quickly stated that there were about 20 of them. And, Yashasvi Jaiswal was one of them. So, he had shown all of them the way to big competition. Indeed, a great Job. Keep it up Jwala Singh.
