Justin Paul netted the all-important winning goal as Steadfast FC got the better of Theresian SC in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Tuesday evening.
Earlier in a Second Division encounter, Rahul Mitra Mandal defeated Charkop FC 2-1. Strikers Krysbur Pereira and Monish Panchal were bang on target with a goal each to seal the Mandal’s win. Jatin Koli got the lone goal for Charkop.
