Sub-Junior badminton
Julian Korda (GMBA) and Nirmitee Gajbhiye (MSDBA) have been given the pride of place in the boys’ and girls’ under-15 singles events respectively in the Bombay Gymkhana-IndusInd Bank Sub-Junior Badminton Tournament 2019, to be organized under the aegis of the Greater Mumbai Badminton Association and to be played at the Bombay Gymkhana badminton courts starting from Thursday, August 1, 2019. The finals are slated to be held on Sunday, August 4.
Lakshya Chouhan (MSDBA) is seeded second in the boys’ under-15, 64-player draw, while Kamya Ravi (MSDBA) is the second seed in the 32-player draw of the girls’ under-15 event.
Nirmitee is also the number one seed in the girls’ under-13 competition, while the second seed is Riya Vinherkar (GMBA). Riya is the top seed in the girls’ under-11 event followed by Evanna Tyagi (MSBDA).
The four-day tournament will consist of events for boys’ and girls’ in three age categories (Under-11, Under-13 & Under-15) and will consists of eight events. There will be singles competition for Boys’ and girls’ in the three age groups and there will also be a doubles event for both boys’ and girls’ in the Under-15 age groups.

Girl’s singles – Under-11: 1. Riya Vinherkar, 2. Evanna Tyagi. Under-13: 1. Nirmitee Gajbhiye, 2. Riya Vinherkar. Under-15: 1. Nirmitee Gajbhiye, 2. Kamya Ravi.
Boys’ singles – Under-11: 1. Harshit Mahimkar, 2. Pratim Manihar. Under-13: 1. Suchir Ravva, 2. Shashwat Kumar. Under-15: 1. Julian Korda, 2. Lakshya Chouhan.
