Junior Sahil Joshi toppled top seeded Yugandh Zende in an action-packed men’s singles semifinals and followed it by outplaying second seeded Jash Dalvi 11-8,11-7,11-4,11-8. to bag the men’s title in the 3rd JSW- Thane Table Tennis ranking tournament, organized by Jindal Sports Academy at their sports training centre,at Vasind here today. In fact, Sahil, who triumphed 10-12, 11-9, 11-9, 7-11, 7-11, 11-4, 11-7 against the top seed, ended with a double, having thrashed second seeded Advait Karmalkar 11-9, 9-11,11-7,11-3,11-2, in the junior boys singles final.

However, Yugandh Zende, who was also top seeded in the youth boys section, defeated another junior Jash Dalvi, the seeded second, 11-7,12-10,7-11,11-7,14-12 to take the youth boys crown. While unseeded junior Tiya Wagh stunned top seeded Arya Songadkar 7-11,9-11,11-8,12-10,2-11,11-9,11-5 in the junior girls final.
