Back Panthers riding on the twin strikes from Jayden Fernandes got on the winning track as they defeated Lions Kings 2-0 in a Boys’ Under-8 league match of the Football Championship League, conducted by The Sports Gurukul (TSG) at the All India Balkan-ji-Bari football ground, Santacruz. Jayden was later declared as the ‘Player of the match’ and he received his award from Jay Shah, Co-founder, The Sports Gurukul.

Earlier, Black Panthers went down tamely losing 0-4 to Striking Pandas in another boys’ under-8 encounter. Nishant M. and Hussain A. both scored two goals each for the Pandas.
In a boys’ under-12 match, Blazing Bears got the better of Super Stallions by a 2-0 margin. Agnelo P. and Romit Vora netted a goal each to seal the Bear victory.
