MCC (Blue) gained three points against Jwala Sports Foundation in their third match of the inaugural four-team MCC Two-Day League, played at Dadar Parsee Zorastrian ground at Matunga. Having taken three points against MCC (Red) earlier, they are now at the top with six points. While “Red” have only 3 points so far. The other two teams, JSF and Bhosale Cricket Academy have yet to open their account.
The featuree of ”Blue” win was the fine 133 by Jash Dedhiya with 15 fours and a six as Blue hit up 323. The other major contributors were Vishal Singh 60, and Pratik Mhatre 45, whileVedant Patil (4/96) and Saffan Qureshi and Ayaz Khan had two wickets apiece.
In reply, JSF were bundled out for 132. The “Blue” did not enforce follow-on and decided to bat again and ended with 85 for six before the umpires called it a day.
