Powered by the twin strikes from James D’Souza, Mangalore Blues SC romped to a comfortable 4-1 win against Jai Hind SC in a first round match of the 10th Late Adv. A.R. Kudrolli Memorial Knockout Football Tournament 2016, conducted by The Karnatak Sporting Association and played at the KSA ground, Cross Maidan. D’Souza’s teammates Aditya Shetty and Vimesh Salian played good supporting roles by scoring a goal each to seal the win. Saurabh Uchil scored a consolation goal for Jai Hind.
In another match, Satya Vijaya SC got the better of Union SC with strikers Nishant Shetty and Tushar Poojary scoring one goal apiece to notch up the win.
