India number one and current National snooker champion Ishpreet Singh Chadha of Maharashtra showed his class defeating Maharashtra number one Kreishh Gurbaxani by two frames to one in a match to mark the inauguration of the Rs 6.4 lakh NSCI All India Snooker Open Baulk Line 2022, being played at the NSCI billiards hall on Tuesday evening.
Ishpreet took time to get off the blocks as Kreishh raced ahead with a break of 24 to enjoy a 25-0 lead. But, the champion cueist Ishpreet bounced back with two equally small efforts to pocket the first frame 77-44.
In the second, Kreishh came roaring back constructing a fine break of 61 and with not much left on the table Ishpreet decided to concede the frame, which his opponent won 65-15. However, Ishpreet stamped his authority in the third and deciding frame with a superb break of 74 to put the issue beyond Krieshh clinching the fame to complete a 77-44, 15-65, and 75-16 win.
